Purpose of the Underground

VA Linux Systems is launching the VA Affiliate Underground, an organization devotedto assisting you tap into the worldwide groundswell of support for Linux, Open Source, and of course, VA Linux Systems.

As a company born from the Open Source movement, we are committed to nurturing thegrassroots support that has long been associated with Open Source. Inthis case, we wish to reward those who promote VA Linux Systems and Open Sourcesoftware on their website.

How it Works

To implement this plan, we have created a central repository of web banners for both VALinux and Open Source projects. In this first version of the Underground, you maychoose to show either all VA banners or 75% VA banners plus 25% Open Source projectbanners. In return, you accumulate points that may be redeemed at the Underground Store. For every banner you show, one point is added to your tally. Onethousand points is equivalent to $1 of merchandise. In addition, if a visitor to yourwebsite clicks on the banner and buys from us, you gain a 1% commission. Furthermore, if another affiliate joins the underground and references your website, you receive 5%of their points and commission!
